it’s been a journey. When we lost our dog last year, the tragedy was too much for us. It took us months to start to feel any sense of inspiration for future planning, but we still couldn’t imagine finding joy in traveling without Pita. The more our hearts have healed, the more we feel inspired again. We still hope to find land to eventually build on, and having the larger RV will be perfect for staying in while building. Until we find land, we will take advantage of the winter months to introduce Tilly to the life of RV travel, making new memories in some of our favorite places. We’d like to think that Pita wouldn’t have had it any other way. But truth is, he’s gonna be pissed to miss Key West.

We’ve got news! 🪩 A couple months ago we shared that we were closing the door on living full-time RV life on the road, in favor of searching for land or a house. Well, you could say we had a change of plans. More soon on why we jumped back into RV life, AND - why we chose THIS new RV to call home. But for now, we just couldn’t wait a second longer to share this news! ps. Huge shoutout to the most amazing salesperson - Ethan, and all of the many folks at @generalrvcenter who took great care of us and basically moved mountains to get us into our new Brinkley! So ya … we’ve got a lot to catch up on!

Winning 🪩 One benefit of being stairs down and stationary for a bit is getting to explore like a local. We’re loving all the little breweries, farmers markets and boutiques in the area. With Tilly joining the family, we are always using Bring Fido to check for dog friendly locations and have not been disappointed in the options! BTW - who do you think won that game of checkers?

Is welcoming a new puppy into our lives reason enough miss posting for almost a month? Asking for a friend. Either way, I’ve got to warm up this feed because we finally have some news to share on what our next steps will be! We’re finalizing a few details this week, but we’re on the brink of being ready to share this weekend, if all goes to plan. I don’t mean to be all clickbaity vague, but we really like to make sure things are set before sharing too broadly, while equally so excited that we can’t shut up about it. What I can tell you is that we think you’ll be pretty excited with us! Also, if you don’t frequent our stories often - you might have missed that our family has grown! We welcomed Matilda into our hearts and home just shy of a month ago. It’s been a whirlwind in a great way. She’s helping us to heal from our loss of Pita, and we’re starting to feel like real humans again. I miss sharing all that we’ve got going on, and will be trying to do so more often, although not at the level that we previously had. If there was one positive that came out of the last few months it was that we found better balance in living in the moment vs. creating content, and I want to protect that while still sharing our experiences. So … that’s what we’ve got going on. We miss talking with so many of you and hearing about what you’re up to and where you’re going.
